We walked a lot during those days – through streets, alleys, parks. We explored the city in our own way, step by step, without rushing. My body was tired from walking, my thoughts somewhere between what had already happened and what was about to come.

Vienna still felt close. I remember a gentle kind of melancholy – not heavy, not loud. Just the quiet knowing: something beautiful had just passed, and now it was time to move on. No space to hold onto it. The journey kept unfolding, day by day. We hadn’t found a real rhythm yet – it felt more like starting over again and again. Each day anew.

It was hot. The air was thick, the streets shimmering.
And then, this one moment:
a square filled with people, standing hand in hand in a wide circle. A gesture of solidarity. No spectacle, no stage. Just a quiet, human togetherness.
For a short while, everyone was connected – and then, just like that, they moved on.

I was only watching. And yet, it stirred something in me.
Maybe because it mirrored my inner state: holding on for a moment – and then moving forward.

We had already mapped out the next steps. Hungary was waiting.
But inside, everything still felt wide open.
No clear direction, no fixed goal.
Just this one feeling:
I’m on my way. And for now, that’s enough.
