About me

Hi, I’m Sascha – a traveler, conscious creator, and storyteller on a lifelong journey through inner and outer worlds.
In 2023, I said goodbye to a life that no longer felt like mine.
What started as a bicycle trip across Eastern Europe became something far greater —
a journey into trust, simplicity, and self-responsibility.
From Germany to Georgia, and later with just a backpack through Central Asia and the Indian subcontinent,
I wasn’t just crossing borders — I was shedding layers of fear, expectation, and false identity.
Every step, every mountain pass, every silent night under the stars reminded me:
You don’t have to know the destination — you just have to start walking.
What followed wasn’t always easy, but it led to the most honest version of myself I’ve ever met.
For over 15 years, I numbed what I didn’t know how to feel — with alcohol, distractions, and the need to prove myself.
Letting go wasn’t a moment. It was a thousand quiet choices:
to stay present, to forgive myself, to live without pretending.
Sobriety was only the beginning.
What truly transformed me was learning to sit with discomfort — and listen.
To reconnect with my breath, my body, and the parts of me I had long abandoned.
Healing isn’t linear.
But with each layer I peeled back, I found more truth, more compassion, more freedom.
This blog isn’t just about travel. It’s about what I’ve found along the way — and what might help you on your own path.
Here, you’ll find:
-
raw stories from the road
-
tools for inner clarity
-
reflections on life beyond addiction
-
thoughts on living with less, but feeling more
-
resources to reconnect — with yourself, with others, with what matters
I’m not here to offer perfect answers — but honest moments.
What you’ll read here comes from experience, not theory. From being lost, learning slowly, and choosing to begin again.
If you’re searching for something deeper, something real —
you’re in the right place.
Let’s walk a while together.
