Germany was where it all began. The first push of the pedals, the leap from idea to reality, and the moment the journey truly started.
The start felt surreal — familiar streets turning into the first real distance.
With every kilometer, home grew smaller, and the adventure ahead grew larger.

Heavy rain, heat, and sweat — right from the start we felt what it really means to travel with fully loaded bikes.
The first days were tough. Through Warmshowers we found places to rest: one night in the treatment room of a physiotherapist, another in a house where we were given an entire floor after arriving completely soaked.
We explored Dresden and its rich history, faced our fear of heights on the steep trails of Saxon Switzerland, and learned what it means not to know what comes next.
Germany was the beginning — and it demanded a lot from us.
